Day 01 :
Yangon -
Sittwe by morning
flight. (LD) Meet and pick up at hotel lobby and
transfer to Yangon Minglardon Airport.
Upon arrival at Sittwe airport, transfer
to jetty for a chartered boat trip to
Mrauk U. A pleasant boat trip on the
Kalatan River from Mrauk U takes about 5
hours upstream. 8 km from Mrauk U is
Wethali, another ancient capital of
Rakhine during 8-10 centuries AD.

Day 02 :
Mrauk U Sightseeing. (BLD)
After breakfast at the hotel visit
Myanmar’s legendary lost city of Mrauk
U. Back in its 15th century heyday Mrauk
U was one of the richest cities in all
of Asia but today the town is more like
a sleepy village. A morning tour of
Mrauk U’s sights includes Koethaung
Temple, the Pitakataik Library,
Laungbanpyauk Pagoda, Yadana Mannaung
and Sakaya Mannaung Pagodas. After
lunch, visit Shitthaung Temple, Mrauk
U’s most important monument, built in
1535 and containing a remarkable
collection of Arakanese Buddha images
and relief’s. Continue to the multi-spired
Andawthein Ordination Hall, with its
unique stone carvings, the circular
Ratanabon Pagoda, Htaukkhanthein, a huge
fortress-like temple with vaulted
passages containing interesting stone
sculptures and Laymyetnha, the first
pagoda erected in Mrauk U in 1430.

Day 03 :
Mrauk U -
Sittwe (BLD)
Enjoy sunrise over the misty Shwedaung
hills of Mrauk U from the top of the
hill. After breakfast continue
sightseeing in Mrauk U with a visit to
the local fish market, the ruins of the
Royal Palace and the Archaeological
Museum. Proceed to the jetty and board a
chartered boat back to Sittwe. On
arrival enjoy sunset over the Bengal Bay
from View Point Beach.
Overnight in Sittwe.
Day 04 :
Sittwe -
Yangon by afternoon
flight.
A morning city tour of Sittwe, the
capital of Rakhine State, featuring the
colorful fish market, Mahakuthala
Monastery Museum, the Cultural Museum
and the Church of England (built in
1855) before the transfer to Sittwe
Airport.
