Yangon

Enjoy Glorious sights of Royal Lake with Karaweik Hall, the 2580 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and many other exotic sights of Yangon, the Garden City of the East.
Have a pleasant boat ride in the Royal Lake and a walk on the Inya Lake bun with lush greenery and cool breeze, an ideal for nature walk.
Visit Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, Maha Pasana Cave, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda, Mei-lamu Pagoda, National Museum, War Cemetery of Common Wealth and Allied forces (1939-45) which is also a horticulture show, covering 3.5 acres of land and Bogyoke Aung San Park.
 

Bago / Honsawade

Have a glimpse of gilded past Myanmar Honsawade Kingdom (15th century) and the Shwemawdaw Pagoda built over 2000 years ago, the 55 meters long and 16 meters high Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha, Kalyani Sima (Ordination Hall), 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda and many other interesting places. It is located only 80 km from Yangon.
 

Thanlyin

45 minutes drive from Yangon across the Thanlyin Bridge, which once had been the Portuguese’s strong hold in the 16th century A.D.
Kyaikkhauk Pagoda and Yele Phaya (Pagoda on the small island) and old Ancient Portuguese Church are some of the places of interest.
 


 

Twante

24 km from Yangon on the Twante canal. A craft drive across the Yangon River and one-hour car drive can reach Tuntay. Pottery is a major cottage industry. Shwesandaw Pagoda, Oh-Bo Potery sheds, Baung Daw Gyoke Pagoda, snake Temple, Kandaw Mingalar Lake and weavers are among the interesting sites.
